The year is 2045, and the United States has reached a new level of totalitarian rule: one all-powerful political party, a singular, state-adjacent media outlet, a cunning and mysterious President with a thousand-watt smile, and a resistance—however meager—trying their best within rules their enemies don’t follow.

Forty-four years to the day of 9/11/01, an attack from a rising terrorist group, The Alt, wipes out an entire town in upstate New York. This news sets in motion the actions of three individuals, each on their own journey that will affect the future of the nation.

  • Marcus Nyland, a reluctant, rising star in the state-adjacent media monopoly, reluctantly feeds information to a resistance group in exchange for an escape from his past.

  • Avery Preston, a small-town young woman and sister of The Alt’s first victim, searches for more information about her sister’s death.

  • Joseph Robbins, the lone senator independent of political party, is thrust into the forefront of the resistance as he tries to will his idealistic future into existence.

Their journeys toward self discovery, truth, and the future of the United States brings about the answers to life's biggest questions. Do you really know the people around you? Is doing the right thing worth losing everything you have? How do we differentiate between the truth and lies, and are they told to take advantage of us or protect us?

At the end of these four days lies Victory Day, the mysterious holiday commemorating one-hundred years since the end of World War Two, and the day that President Graham King promises will change everything.
